Introducing our new BRR Loping Hackamore. The complete set up including Leather headstall, rope fiador, lariat nose bosal (with or without braided nose) and cotton training split reins or rope reins, your choice.
Great for bitless riding, training those young ones before they are introduced to the bit or for sore/injured mouthed horses or horses who just prefer not having a bit in their mouth.
These are very popular in the US and are certainly gaining popularity here in Aus.
The headstall is either made from Herman Oak or bridle leather in either a dark or light oil and in a cob (16 inch brow) or a full (18 inch brow).
The bosal/noseband is made in either 26 inch or 29 inch circumference from recycled lariat rope and can be braided over or left bare.
The fiador is made from 6.35mm rope and is fully adjustable. We will match the fiador colour to the colour of the reins you choose.
You can opt for either plaited cotton training reins or go for our more traditional rope reins in either a split style at 6ft or a mecate style rein at 18ft. Other lengths available if need be, just ask. You can also choose other colour options for the rope reins/mecate and rope fiador if need be but for ease of listing we have just given the 3 standard options above.
